We have completed the pickups "KurosawaLimitedCustomVintageSingleCoil" and "KurosawaLimitedCustomVintageHumbucker" exclusively for Kurosawa Musical Instruments Store, which were developed through repeated discussions and prototyping between RedHouse and our store.
Originally, RedHouse's pickups were based on vintage Strats and P.A.F.s, so they were originally equipped with wonderful pickups that were good at producing very vintage-like sounds, but we developed a pickup with this particular attention to detail. What would happen if RedHouse seriously reproduced the vintage sound?
In order to pursue this goal, our store and RedHouse President Ishibashi repeatedly exchanged opinions and decided to develop an original PU.

The sound of RedHouse's standard single is close to the "sweet and plump sound" often found in current Fender CustomShop singles, and is especially strong for those who like Strat sounds that lift the band around the low mids. It was popular.

We requested PU development based on the above content.
The official request for PU development was made around February 2023, but the first prototype PU was completed in August of the same year.
At the time of the prototype, the sound was of very high quality, but we decided to make further improvements to pursue richer overtones and a juicier sound.
After further trial and error, ver.2 was completed in October of the same year.
When I tried that PU, the sound perfectly met my needs, so I decided to adopt this ver.2 as our official limited PU model.
The RedHouse limited PU that was completed in this way has become a model that is highly recommended for vintage lovers.
Although it may have a clear sound at first glance, which is often the case with vintage PUs, the sound is only concentrated around the high range, so it never becomes a smooth sound.
The sound is rich in overtones and has a three-dimensional feel, but it also has a sparkling, sparkling sound.
Because it is not a particularly high-power PU, it is possible to produce a vivid tone that makes the guitar roar when driven by a vacuum tube amplifier, and this model also has the unparalleled sexiness of vintage Fenders and Gibsons. It is brewing.

This model is a model that combines the sound and looks of a vintage Strat with the playability of a modern guitar.
In particular, regarding the sound, as mentioned earlier, we manufactured it with an eye on installing our limited PU, so in addition to the sound output as expected, we have created an individual with an outstanding live sound.
Regarding playability, we have adopted somewhat modern specifications rather than strictly matching vintage specifications.
The fingerboard radius is 240R so that you can play chords and single notes stably without any discomfort, and the fret size is medium jumbo frets.
As for the painting, since we were aiming for a vintage Strat sound, we manufactured it entirely using lacquer.
In the case of poly, the advantage is that the sound is stable, but the disadvantage is that it suppresses the sense of overtones and does not allow the sound to grow, so we decided to use lacquer to protect the sound and future growth.
By applying relic processing on top of that, not only does it look cool, but it also weakens the bond between the paint films, resulting in a more open sound.
There are countless Strats with similar specifications in the world, not just RedHouse Strats, but I have listed below the reasons why RedHouse Strats are good.
A common problem with guitars that are made with the aim of being a so-called vintage type guitar is that the output is simply weak, or the majority of guitars are made to embody the image of the word "withered". There is a point.
