This is a very special spoon

Featuring an intricate design on both the FRONT and BACK of the handle, and on the BACK of the bowl.  

I am not familiar with the markings.  I believe AP and 84 indicate it may be Russian or Polish(?).

Stamps are AP 1887 84 M and what I think may be a lion(?)

Spoon measures approx 5 3/16 inches and weighs approx. .4 oz.

I have seen no other pieces like it.
