Hello, for sale is my 1993 Suzuki SG350 goose.

This is a rare bike that was only available in Japan, this bike is an import but registered here, I have the log book for the bike.

Considered one of the best handling bikes at the time, this is the first bike I got my knee down on, the handling is unreal, it’s pretty quick too for a 350 single.

It’s been very reliable for me.

I’ve owned this for 6 years but now time to sell as I have a baby on the way and buying a house (so be generous).

This bike has a nice restoration by me and my dad.

The bodywork was painted by my dad in  Subaru blue, the frame and swing arm is Ford roman bronze, the goose logo on the tank is all paint. In the sun it looks amazing.

The bike was fully stripped and painted, all the bright work was polished and lots of new parts as well.

I have lots of photos of the strip and rebuild of your interested, just send me a  message, I can send a video of it running too.

The bike has a front end from an RGV250 VJ22 so the wheels are odd, but it benefits from dual discs and adjustable preload. The brakes are a bit much for a small capacity but there’s no such thing as having too good brakes.

Has brand new front brake pads. (I think Goldfren), has Venhill front brake hoses and braided hose on the rear. The front disc, rear disc and caliper mounting bolts are titanium. I rebuilt and painted the front calipers myself, I also fitted a genuine master cylinder repair kit.

The bike uses 2 keys, 1 for the ignition and the others for the fuel cap and helmet lock/ remove rear seat.

The tyres are good with plenty of life, the rear is a Bridgestone battlax that I fitted a few years ago and the front is a continental sport attack.

The front mudguard is genuine carbon for a Ducati 996 that really suits the bike, the mounting brackets that hold it on are really well made and solid, I’m not sure where they come from or who made them as they were fitted to the bike when I brought it.

The front frame infills are carbon, I made these myself.

Has new chain and sprockets, the bike has stood for a while so the chain has a small amount of rust on it, but it isn’t seized.

Has a tool kit as in the photo, this is a generic tool kit and not genuine.

Other upgrades include, NGK iridium spark plug, Lithium ion battery which is 2kg lighter than standard and can be sat unused for a very long time and hold charge, genuine leather front and rear seat covers, preload adjusters, the rearsets are after market but I don’t know by who, HRC rear brake reservoir pipe, aftermarket exhaust hanger, indicators and brake lever guard.

A lot of the bolts have been changed for stainless steel.

The original side panels aren’t fitted but they are included in the sale, they’re pretty ugly so I took them off, they haven’t been painted so are a bit scruffy, and now possibly scratched from being in storage.

I replaced all the fuel hoses today (4 may) as the originals rotted.

Although the bike had been stood a long time it started instantly, I took it round the block and it rides and stops perfect.

Unfortunately there are some issues with the bike.

The bike doesn’t have an MOT.

There’s a bubble in the paint on the right side of the fuel tank as pictured, I don’t dare poke it.

The left fork seal is leaking.

The right side headlight bracket is cracked, I repaired this but the crack is visible.

There’s some fading to the anodising on the fork uppers.

The Speedo trip reset knob is missing, the clocks are the same as a bandit 600 so should be available to buy.

There’s some paint damage to the left frame from a petrol leak, this is on the underside and inside of the frame so you have to look for it.

The wheels are chipped from putting locks through them.

There will be the usual marks all over the bike as expected.

There’s a slight petrol leak from the carb overflow pipe, I’ll try to sort this before sale but it’s unlikely, I’m crazy busy at the minute.

The bike needs a good clean, it’s covered in spider webs from being stood a while, I’ve included a picture of what it looks like cleaned and polished.

Other than that it’s good to go, I’ll include the paddock stand, it’s scruffy but free so who cares.

Thanks for looking, any questions just ask, bike will be pick up only, it’s 10 minutes from junction 24 of the M1.

I’m selling all my bikes as my priorities have changed.

These are, Yamaha SDR 200, Suzuki GP100, Yamaha YSR80 and a Honda CRM250 mk2.2.

Any questions about this bike or the others let me know.
