Vintage/antique college dining hall plate - featuring two crossed Y pennants and the seal/ motto (Sigill Coll Yalen Nov Port Nov Angl, Lux et Veritas, 7” in diameter, porcelain, embossed with a luster decoration, made in Germany, maybe 1910s or perhaps 1920s.

Condition is good - no chips, no cracks, no flakes, shiny, looks like it was hardly used - someone took it from the dining hall the first time they saw it, I think.
