You are looking at an old rarer and unique Atlas desk stand during the 1960's era and perfect for just about any older vintage microphone. The TS-8 was uber modern and a very elegant desk stand made in Parsippany, NJ. It comes with it's original Atlas cardboard sleeve.

 Pic # 2 is from an older Atlas catalog showing this particular model. Atlas only made this stand for roughly 5 to 10 years which is why you see so few of these stands around.

 This seldom seen stand could use a variety of chrome risers depending on the users needs and this one comes with the Atlas AD-9 adapter and 8 inch chrome riser giving you a bit of height to work with and looks absolutely stunning. This is going to make any older mic you have pop and it's ideal for small, medium and larger sized mics. The TS-8 came with a cast iron base. The stock chrome cover is stock and in perfect condition.

 This larger, heavier desk stand was ideal for microphones that needed extra height and stability. The TS-8 model is much harder to tip over and is literally about 3 times larger than the Atlas DS-5 model. 

 Total dimensions are inches high x 7 tall X 10 inches wide and it's quite heavy.

 The chrome stem shows no wear. The cover is actually made of brass with a quality polished chrome finish. No rust on the bottom of the cast iron base either. This is a gorgeous TS-8 model stand overall. This stand is an easy 9 + on a scale of 10 and I don't think this stand was ever used. Please let the detailed pics be your guide. 

 All 6 felt pads are in excellent condition. Just a couple very lite rust stains on the bottom. The stand will accept just about any microphone as this stand has the universal 5/8 thread.

 This is perfect for the old "Fatboy" 55 or RCA 77DX because of it's wide, stable base.

 If you need a rarer model for the collection or every day use...the TS-8 will do the trick. I very rarely ever get these in and never this nice.
