Vintage 1950s Vogue SLW ML Ginny Doll 8"

For your consideration is an 8-inch Ginny doll. She is hard plastic with strung arms that hold a pose and is a straight leg walker with a working mechanism, brown sleep eyes with molded lashes that need assistance to open and close, and shiny red hair in its original style and tied with red silk bows. Her torso is marked, "GINNY, VOGUE DOLLS INC, PAT.NO. 2687594, MADE IN U.S.A." Note: there is a bit of what appears to be dried glue adjacent to her right ear.

Ginny is wearing an untagged cotton check print dress with attached cream colored half slip underneath, matching fabric waist tie, matching bloomers/underwear, and matching headscarf with flowers on one side. Ginny is wearing cream colored rayon socks and unmarked brown side buttoned shoes.
