Proving his ability as a soldier and skillful leader, he unites the dissident factions in the English army and goes on to crush the French, against enormous odds, at Agincourt. Arranging a treaty with the French court, he woos Princess Katharine to whom he is formally betrothed as part of the peace agreement.

This title is VERY RARE ! The dialog is so good and the rarity of the title, make this a significant Historical film for a collector.

Note:

The first reel for some reason (maybe a cleaning issue) fades light an dark at times…I tried filming this but it is imperceptible to my digital camera...however the other three reels are fine. Complete to the end credits, All opening titles are also intact! The only major flaw to me is that this in NOT technicolor, but Eastman film!

Interesting Note: Winston Churchill instructed Olivier to fashion the film as morale-boosting propaganda for British troops fighting World War II. The making and release of the film coincided with the Allied invasion of Normandy and push into France. An early preview trailer of the film showed contemporary London just before cutting to the film's aerial footage of London in 1600.
