Japan limited, Murphy Lab, light aged '54 all gold
This model is custom-made in the "all gold" color that we have received many requests for.
The vintage-style slightly greenish color is very realistic.
The neck shape is a '59 neck (Authentic Medium-Jumbo frets) that is reminiscent of the original '50s Les Paul with a cleaner grip than before.
The head logo uses a lower logo slightly lower than the vintage one.
We use a special lacquer blended by Mr. Murphy that was developed specifically for this series.
The ultra-thin lacquer not only has a vintage-like feel, but also physically reproduces the deterioration caused by aging, realistically reproducing the sound of wood that has aged over many years.
2013-14 with adhesive glue and tubeless truss rod.
In 2015-16, TrueHistoric was introduced, recreating the artisanal touch of the Kalamazoo Factory era.
In 2017-18, the neck shape and top curve were changed, giving it the original feel and expression.
The 60th anniversary model from 2019 to 2020 reproduces details by changing the head logo and position mark, and changes the curves of the oil condenser and pot to reproduce vintage tone nuances.
The ultimate model that has finally arrived is the Murphy Lab.
It is finished with LightAged, which is the second lightest of the four aging grades in the series.
