Vintage Mid Century 1940s World War II era (1942) industrial original Modernist watercolor painting. Depicts an eye catching and colorful rural country landscape complete with rolling hills and farm houses! Medium is watercolor on textured paper done in a Modernist Expressionist style. Well done with pleasing brushstrokes as well as nice use of color and capture of depth. Signed and dated ‘J.R. Butler ‘42’ in the bottom right corner.
