Vintage evening bag / clutch by Crown Lewis,

made of silky black jacquard fabric with a golden hardware frame.

The frame is beautiful and rare to find in this brand - it's made of pierced ornate gilded metal

and set with clear crystals in a delicate leaf pattern.

Inside the bag is prostine and has a pocket with a golden edge and the logo.

It's in the 50s style but maybe made later (up to the 80s?). Also to my knowledge this is an Italian brand but I couldnt find any labels to confirm that.

If you prefer not to have the handle and use it as a clutch, it can be unattached permanently as it's held by two metal rings with openings, easy to unbend, but it's not something to do reguraly.

Condition is excellent and possibly used once if at all - it has a tiny fabric/seam split (a few mm) on one corner  - see enlargement - and also a tiny scuff on the base of handle that's not on view, but as these were hand-made there may be original very small imperfections. No smokey/musty odours at all. Personally I bought it for the frame in this condition as I collect jewellery, and I never used it.
