This is a rare and valuable signed first edition of "Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell, published in 1936 by The Macmillan Company in New York. The hardcover binding is intact (though starting to pull back at the top) and the book is in its original form with no modifications. This copy has a great provenance, a story I'm happy to tell in Messages to protect family privacy. The author's signature is present, and it is inscribed to the original owner from Memphis. The book is a classic piece of literature and fiction, with a captivating storyline set in the American South. It is a must-have for any book collector or enthusiast, especially those interested in the topic of classics. It is said that Margaret Mitchell stopped signing after six months due to the number of requests.

I have tried to show any wear in the photos. It is a very old book, but it has worn better than many of its age.
