Known back in the day as a Princess Thai ring, this style of as popular in the 1940s and 1950s. These are a traditional design that is supposed to represent the pointed headdresses of Thai dancers. They were brought back to the US from Thailand by servicemen in the 1940s-1960s as gifts.

The ring is size 7.5 and has been resized (can be resized again). It is marked 14k but only tests between 9k and 10k, with silver on top. The diamonds are single cut, and the multi-colored gems include Opal, tiger-eye and tourmaline. I’m not sure about the bright blue, red and green stones and will assume they are lab made.

It’s more of a fashion ring than a fine ring - still colorful and fun! Please ask any questions.
