is an original printed production art page for the classic newspaper
comics strip Peanuts, by the legendary Charles M. Schultz (legendary
writer and artist of the Peanuts strip, and creator of Snoopy, Charlie
Brown, Woodstock, Linus, Lucy, Peppermint Patty, Pigpen, Schroeder,
Marcie, Sally, Franklin, Rerun, etc.). This sheet is for strips from the
week of July 13, 1958. The page measures approximately 10" by 14 1/2", It is in very good
condition, particularly for its age (more than 60 years old!), with just
some light handling wear. It has not been folded across the middle
(commonly done for syndicate production art pages). There are not likely
to be many surviving Peanuts production art pages, which would of
course make this piece very rare. This is a fantastic piece for the
collection for a fan of the strip or the Peanuts cartoons, and would
look great framed and prominently displayed. questions or suggestions will be appreciated - again I am no expert - please do research before you bid - it will be shipped in a box and insured - thanks
