Men's Palm Beach brand herringbone jacket in brown.

2-button jacket with patch pockets and singe vent in rear.

I bought it in the early 1980s and wore it sparingly, so it is in superb condition, with no signs of wear on the outside or inside.

No tagged size, but the actual fit is a size 38 long.

Measurements:

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam width: 17"

Pit-to-pit width: 17" (seam-to-seam), 20" (edge to edge)

Length from bottom of collar to hem (in back of jacket): 31"

Sleeve length from should seam to end: 25 and 1/4"

Width of lapel at widest point: 4"

The Palm Beach company originated as a textile company that produced a cotton-type material in Maine, whose owners spent winters in Palm Beach. By the early 1930s it had become a manufacturer of clothing in the Cincinnati area, using the Palm Beach brand name. It later diversified into women's clothing (purchasing Evan-Picone, etc.) before itself being acquired by Hart, Schaffner & Marx.

I am reducing my too-large collection of infrequently worn, mostly "trad" men's attire, so if you are interested, please take a look at my other listings.

Returns accepted for any reason; buyer to pay postage charges.

Thank you.
