For auction is a beautiful and colorful pattern produced by The Roseville Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Primrose" and the shape is a double handled jardinière or planter The jardinière or planter is a good size as it measures 5 5/16" tall and is 7 7/8" in diameter at its widest point.

The vase displays a deep round bowl shape. The vase has a background glaze of robins egg blue with sage green leaves and beige stems. The Primrose flowers are white with yellow centers. The vase is accented with 2 small applied triangular shaped handles at the top and an large round shaped top opening.

The jardinière is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is the usual crazing that happens to the glaze color on this pattern. The piece is signed on the bottom with the incised "Roseville U.S.A." raised relief signature mark, as well as the shape number, 634-5". The signature is one of the most crisp I have ever seen. There is also the number "12" incised just above. This is probably the finishers initial.

This is a quality piece of Roseville art pottery. This is one of the cleanest examples I have ever owned in this pattern. Those of you who collect this pattern and want an excellent example both in form and glaze, need not look any further. This jardinière, planter was made circa 1936.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for.

They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 12.35% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 12.35%. This is an increase of 9.1% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 12.35% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.

International purchases must wait for the Invoice so Insurance can be added. There are some Countries I cannot Ship to because the Post Office won't allow Insurance on items shipped there.
