Nikon microscope drawing tube (camera lucida) attachment

This is a very nice microscope drawing tube (camera lucida)attachment for projecting your drawing plane (paper and pen) into the microscope eyepiece. It makes it easy to trace what you see in the microscope.

 This one is for the Nikon Labaphot / Optiphot / Alphaphot series (not the newer Eclipse series). It has two adjustment collars – one for the distance eyepiece / paper, and one for zooming the drawing plane in or out to draw an overview or finer details of the superimposed microscope image. Besides an open/close position, it also has agreen filter position that allows you to overlay your drawing plane in green over the image plane. Attached between the microscope body and the eyepieces, it has an enlargement factor of 1.25x. The serial number is 231657. It is in good condition and has seen very little use.
