Bauhaus-Walstein M2 Studio model Tenor Saxophone - EXCELLENT HORN

Really good pro-model Tenor sax - very responsive, low resistance, great keywork, with porcelain resonators

This is Bauhaus-Walstein's pro-model Tenor and is the Studio version of the M2 which means it has a 6-inch bell, as
opposed to the standard M2 models which had a 6½-inch bell - the result is THIS version has noticeably more edge
and greater projection, and I KNOW as I have owned both versions - note that ONLY the Studio version came in gold
lacquer and they are RARE as not many of the Studio version were made - for those of you interested they were
made in Taiwan at a factory especially chosen by the company founder and instrument designer after both those
people made extensive and repeated visits to that country to explore their manufacturing options

In truly excellent condition with last COA in February and not played much since as soon after I got another horn I've
wanted for a while - I will regret selling this but unfortunately need the funds to restore my bank balance

The Bauhaus-Walstein horns are highly regarded amongst people in the know for a VERY good reason - GREAT
value horns for the money! - I LOVE them and have owned several, in fact I still have a Walstein Alto in my stable!

Stephen Howard has a very good review of the silver-plated big-bell version of the M2 at the following link,
which mentions the Studio version towards the end of the review - see here (opens in new tab):

I would highly recommend this to ANYBODY who wants a seriously good alternative to the rubbish Mk6 clones

Comes in original Bauhaus rectangular case which is also in very good condition
