He tells stories of living on a fine farm with high class dogs, one of whose wife left him for an Irish Setter. 


The toy gives his boy's father a tip on a horse to win, would have been in the Kentucky Derby if it weren't for a drinking problem. 


At one point he tells the young boy that they are going to hell and back - the gates of the cemetery that day.
