Ordnance Survey of Scotland One Inch Map of Sound of Sleat, Sheet 35. Edition: Popular. Publication Date: 1929. Revised in 1927.

As well as Sleat, the map features the Red Cuillins and as far as Loch Coruisk to the west. Broadford and the Kyle of Lochalsh are also covered.

Cloth mounted and dissected map

Condition:  Largely in excellent condition apart from a stain which is visible on the map itself and in the bottom margin.  The most noticeable stain is in the sea between Mallaig and the Aird of Sleat (see close-up photo) but this does not detract from the condition of the map as a whole. Some panels are a little grubby. The cloth backing is whole and strong, with original owner's name and address in pencil on one panel. The covers are also excellent.
