 From the shadows, the freshly tweaked Manson PF-1 bridge pickup delivers what reviewers have described as “immense, velvety chords that ring out with near-infinite sustain”. Combined with the three-way sustain modes of the Sustainer and a standard fit coil tap, you have a dashboard of sounds the majority of guitars can only dream of. Single coil, angular ‘alt’ brightness? It’s there. Full fat humbucker driven punch? Check. Active acoustic-like neck tones? Leave the sustainer off and that’s how your neck pickup is engaged. Sustain on and you have three voices to play with; each with infinite sustain.
