Decals: The almost complete sheet contains decals for eleven aircraft, one Royal Air Force (RAF) McDonnell-Douglas (F-4M) Phantom FGR.2 serving with 56 Squadron (Sqn), three RAF Phantom FGR.2s serving with 2 Sqn, two French Air Force Armée de l’Air (ALA) Dassault Mirage IIIEs serving with Escadron de Chasse 2/4 “Layfayette” (EC 2/4), one ALA Fouga CM.170 Magister serving with the 10th Escadre (Esc), Escadrille d’Etrainement au Vols Sans Visibilite (EEVSV), one ALA CM.170 Magister serving with the 11th Esc, EEVSV, one ALA CM.170 Magister serving with the 30th Esc, EEVSV, one United States Air Force (USAF) General Dynamics F-111E Aardvark serving with the 20th Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) finished in a striking Bicentennial scheme and a RAF North American (F-86) Sabre F.1 serving with 20 Sqn.

Includes bureau and serial numbers, aircraft codes for all aircraft types, 2 Sqn and 56 Sqn roundel bars for the Phantom’s, 20 Sqn roundel bars for the Sabre, Sqn and unit badges for all aircraft types from the ALA and RAF, Bicentennial markings for the General Dynamics F-111 in the form of SPIRIT OF ‘76 titles, large 76 numbers for the tail, a Red fin cap and Red, White and Blue darts for the tail spine, small HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA titles for the gear doors,  comprehensive data/stencils for the Phantom including walk way markings in Yellow, NO STEP, DANGER q triangles, RESCUE„ arrows, Red warnings etc, a Mirage including the disctinctive Red and Yellow wing walks and DANGER q triangles, a Magister including NE PAS MARCHER, Red wing walks and a Sabre including DANGER q triangles and Black wing walks, including instrument panel decals for all aircraft types, British tactical Blue/Red roundels, tactical Blue/Red angled fin flashes and Blue, White and Red angled fin flashes for the RAF Phantoms, two sizes of British type D roundels for the RAF Sabre and three sizes of French roundels for the ALA Mirage and Magister. Note that no Stars and Bars are provided on the sheet.

 

There are sufficient decals to complete at least one Phantom, one Sabre, one Mirage IIIE, one Magister and one F-111E from the sheet, taking into account comments above.  The RAF Phantoms and Sabre are finished in Dark Green and Dark Sea Grey uppers over Light Aircraft Grey lowers. The RAF Sabre has a White fin cap. The ALA Mirages are finished in a camouflage of matt Dark Grey and matt Dark Green uppers over matt or semi-matt Silver lowers. The ALA Magisters are finished in semi-Gloss Aluminium Silver overall. The USAF F-111E is finished in matt Dark Green, Green and Tan uppers over matt Black lowers.

 

Also includes a detailed double sided A4 black and white placement guide showing side, upper and lower profiles and a double sided A5 black and white placement guide showing images of the aircraft.

Condition: excellent, as with all older decal sheets, test a piece first, and if in any doubt, coat with liquid decal film before use.

Any new bids from 11 days after the first sheet won will be counted as a new invoice.
