1981 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler - Engine Rebuilt, Ready for Your Customization!

This Jeep was bought by my family in 1998 soon after a restoration and we wheeled it in Moab for 4-5 years after that. My parents moved to Oregon in 2003 where it was mostly garage-kept or in storage until I brought it back to Utah in 2012. Since then it has mostly been a fun car for driving around town with not much offroad use. I’d just like to see it go to someone who will use it more often.

The engine was recently rebuilt and the entire floor was replaced along with outboard floor supports and new rocker panels.

The Jeep has typical body rust for the year, but nothing structural. The new rocker panels were left with primer to showcase the recent work. This allows you to easily personalize the paint color to match your style. The speedometer works, as does the internal gauge lighting, but the other gauges do not currently work (Fuel, battery, oil pressure, temp.)
