A second-hand product made in the USA of the long-selling model "StingRay" that symbolizes MUSIC MAN has arrived.
Since its introduction in 1976, the Stingray is a 4-string bass equipped with an active EQ circuit, and is still loved by many players as one of the representative bass models.
A simple yet easy-to-use and sturdy structure with the same ash body and maple neck.
The neck and body are fixed with 6 bolts, and the bridge is also equipped with a strong steel bridge. The vibrations of the strings are transmitted directly to the neck and body through the nut and bridge.
A 3-to-1 peg arrangement was adopted to ensure that the strings could be stretched straight from the nut to the peg post without stress. Everyone knows that the distinctive oval-shaped pickguard has become an icon of the Stingray.
The original humbucker pickup is the biggest feature of the Stingray in terms of sound.
Connect it to an amplifier and simply turn up the volume to get a thick and powerful rock bass sound. By adjusting the 3-band equalizer, you can create a wide range of expressions from sweet, mild tones to brisk slap sounds with just your own sound makeup.
Although there have been minor specification changes, the iconic design and basic style have been inherited to this day.
Judging from the serial number, it is probably a model made around 1995.
There are some small scratches and dents on the body, but there are no scratches on the neck and only slight darkening. Considering that it was made in 1995 and has been manufactured for less than 30 years, it is a beautiful piece overall.
There is plenty of room on both the tightening and loosening sides of the rod based on the feeling of torque when turning it during adjustment.
When it arrived, there was some chatter due to the frets being worn down, so we are adjusting the frets. Currently the neck is straight and there is no chatter or clogging of the sound.
There is no problem with the operation of the pot gully or EQ.
