Jose Ramirez Jose Ramirez Model:3E Cedar/Rosewood Made in 1988 Used is now in stock!
[Jose Ramirez]
José Ramírez I learned guitar making at Francisco González's workshop from 1870, and in 1882 he opened his own workshop in Rastro. Then we moved to Calle Concepcion Geronimo in Madrid, where the history of Ramírez guitars began in earnest. The third generation brought about innovations in the structure, and had a great influence on subsequent guitar makers. Currently, it is firmly passed down by the fourth generation, Amalia Ramirez (daughter of Jose Ramirez III), and the fifth generation, Cristina and Jose Enrique. The production methods and ideas of the José Ramirez workshop, which have been built up over more than 130 years, are today the basis of the Madrid school of guitar production.
They have five principles that have been followed for five generations. Those are words that clearly describe the guitar maker Jose Ramirez.
Tradition, Experience, Quality, Innovation and Professionalism
"Tradition, experience, quality, innovation, professionalism"
The 3E model that arrived this time, made in 1988, is an entry-level model among Ramirez models.
Originally a classical type model, this one was used as a flamenco guitar, so the string height is set quite low. Depending on the purpose of use, you may want to raise the string height.
Also, the thread spool has been replaced with one made by Gotoh.
*Golpe board is not attached.
There are paint cracks, touch-up marks, dents, and small playing scratches on the top plate, but there is no history of major repairs such as cracks, and the condition is good.
This model has a solid volume and is easy to play, so it may be a good idea to switch from an acoustic guitar or electric guitar.
