RARE Victorian WILLIAM EWART GLADSTONE 45mm bronze medal by JOSEPH CARTER - Collector's grade!

This rare 45mm deep ebony bronze medal is engraved and signed by Victorian sculptor and medalist Joseph Carter (1842-1919), and commemorates William Ewart Gladstone (1809 to 1898). He was a liberal politician who served a record four terms as Prime Minister and another four terms as Chancellor of the Exchequer. Final term recorded as Britain's oldest Prime Minister.

Condition: Near Mint High Collector’s grade with a pleasing uncleaned deep ebony brown antique patina, single edge knock as seen.
