This slightly odd Christmas greeting card dates, I think, to the second half of the 1800s.   It has an artist drawn image on the front of a weird / creepy looking chap with very thin legs and wearing a top hat and smaoking a cigar.  The publisher is S. Hildesheimer & Co.  The card measures 7.5cm x 10.7cm and is a single layer.  No envelope.   Written greeting on reverse.

The card is in a very good minus condition.  Some small rubs and paper residue on the reverse - card came loose to me but has been in an album in the past.  General edge and corner rubs, the odd tiny mark and rub to background, a little light browning to reverse, the odd tiny bump and surface paper chip to edges.  Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. I always refund any excess postage charges.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectables.
