With a heavy heart, I am listing my beloved Tobias Toby Pro 4. I have too many basses, and am not playing enough to justify holding on to them all.

Beautiful flamed maple body, 5 piece through-neck construction - the photos just don’t do it justice - very holographic wood grain! The carving on this thing is a work of art. Seamless neck-to-body transition.

Fast 24 fret neck, nice low action and currently wearing D’Addario flats.

Lovely tone and lots of variation available with the bass, treble and balance controls. The tone I get whopping up the gain through an Ampeg head is glorious.

There are some dings (pictured) as expected on a 30yr old instrument, but nothing that affects its performance. Personally I like a ding or two - makes me worry less if I should accidentally add another.
