This HO gauge steam locomotive, manufactured by Division Point and modeled after the Hammond Lumber Company's #12 Tank engine, is a beautiful addition to any model railroad collection. The intricate details of the brass material and the 2-6-6-2 wheel configuration make it a realistic representation of a classic locomotive. The corporate roadname and brand, Hammond Lumber Company and Division Point respectively, add to the authenticity of the model. This new locomotive is perfect for train enthusiasts and collectors looking to add a unique piece to their collection.

The Baldwin-built engine is a 2-6-6-2 Mallet, built in 1929 for Hammond Lumber Company. As shown, it was originally delivered with side tanks and was assigned #6. The engine was relocated to Samoa, California in the 30s, where it received its #12. It was later sold in 1951 and again in 1956 to Southwest Lumber Mills. In 1960, the unit was retired, and put on display. It now sits, sans water tanks, at the Arizona Historical Society's Pioneer Museum on Nth Fort Valley Rd in Flagstaff, AZ.
