18-track compilation cassette made for Melody Maker music paper readers and sold by mail order in 1988.

Featuring tracks by leading indie artists of the period, along with a small format booklet with photos and quotes for each act.

The tape is presented in a strange black plastic case similar in design to VHS tape cases (although much smaller, obviously). The case was made slightly too small to house the tape and booklet, so it pops open when left to its own devices. However, it always did, even when new. It's in great condition.
