This lovely car, arguably the most beautiful closed car ever to wear the Duesenberg badge, was designed by Gordon Buehrig a the showpiece car in Duesenberg's exhibit at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, “A Century of Progress.” The car body was built by Rollston  Coach Builders in New York and had a price tag of $20,000, a fortune in that Depression year. The Chicago press dubbed the car the "Twenty Grand," a name that sticks to the present day. The car is a centerpiece of the J.B. Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar, California, which authorized this model.

This jewel-like 1:43 reproduction was hand built from drawings and measurements made in the museum by Pivtorak/EMC Models in Ukraine for the B&G Historic Line. The model for sale is number 116 of 200 made. It is BRAND NEW, having been removed from the packaging only for the present photos.
