Up for your consideration is a very hard to find green console bowl with Wheeling's D-78 Aztec Triangles Five gold decoration.  Most of Wheeling's decorations were produced during the 1930's and 1940's.  This decoration pattern is very elusive and desirable. The Wheeling Decorating Company did not produce their own glass, instead buying undecorated glass from the major glass producing companies such as Cambridge, Heisey, Duncan Miller, etc. and decorating or etching with their own patterns before selling.  I am not sure which company's blank the console bowl is.  It matches Central Glass's green color and rayed bottom so Central would be my guess of the maker of the bowl.  The bowl measures 12" in diameter and stands 2 1/2" high.  The gold decoration on glass from this era typically shows a high degree of wear; however, that on this bowl is very minor and I would estimate that it is greater than 95% intact.  The glass is in near mint condition*, with no chips, flakes, cracks, flea bites or glass damage of any kind.  There are a few scuff marks (for lack of a better term) on the sides of the bowl that appear to have happened during the manufacturing process and do not detract from the beauty of the bowl.

Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped in an oversized box.  FedEx typically is the least expensive shipping option for oversized boxes but I have also included rates for USPS and UPS for you to choose from.

* I list items with no damage of any type as 'Near Mint' as I hate to say any item that is more than a few years old is 'Mint'.  Judge by the description, I list any irregularities or minor damage, so if I say no damage, there is no damage even if I call it near mint!

Note:  Elegant and Depression glass commonly contains bubbles, straw marks, inclusions, etc. in the glass, but these are not defects.  I try to include glass anomalies such as this in the description when present.

I will combine shipping when possible, depending on size of items and other considerations.  When purchasing multiple items, please wait for me to send you an invoice after I determine shipping costs.

Due to unscrupulous buyers (that ruin online shopping for everyone) that purchase an item and send back a broken one that they already owned claiming the newly purchased one broke or is not as described, I have a new policy that I stick to. I attach a breakaway signed label to the items sold; the original label must still be on my item when it is returned in order to get a refund. If you try to remove the label and put it on another item to send back, the label is destroyed by removing it and I will not accept that refund!
