 This useful workhorse locomotive was a favorite of both rail-fans and railroaders. Ninety-four were delivered from EMD beginning in 1956. They remained in service well into the 1970’s. The original ‘Black Widow’ paint scheme was changed to gray and scarlet in the 70’s.

 This NEW-in-Original-Box model features DCC Quick plug for easy conversion to digital operation, LED lighting 5-pole skew wound silent motor, all-wheel electrical pick-up and drive and laser-sharp paint and finish.

 Prototype details include ESPEE’s distinctive headlight cluster, Dynamic brake detailing, accurate fuel-tanks and airhorn detail.
