Up for bid is this vintage and seldom seen PEARSE & McGILL PHARMACISTS TAKE CARE poison bottle from CHEYENNE, WYO. This bottle is listed as Extremely Scarce and a KS-28 in Rudy Kuhn’s Poison Bottle Workbook 2 and a KS-27 and a rarity 5 in the American Poison Bottle book. This little bottle is only 2 5/8 inches tall and has an uneven tooled lip. It held ½ ozs of poison and dates from only 2 years from 1886-1887. It is in a light to medium cobalt in color depending on the thickness of the glass. This bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or dings, with what looks like a very thin open bubble on the inside of the bottle below the M in Mcgill, a trace of inner stain and a few spots of crud in the lip. I looked this bottle over very carefully with a loop so not to misrepresent it. I mention and show everything for accuracy. Please look at my other listings for other great Poison bottles.
