This IBM ThinkPad 760XL is in exceptional condition and everything works - so rare! Every piece is in place. No cracks, no missing or loose compartment doors. The screen is perfect. It boots fully in 93 seconds. It has the standard CD drive and the optional interchangeable 3.5 floppy drive. It includes the power / charging cord and adapter. This unit only has two flaws: 1) the battery is dead, of course; and 2) the track ball is a little deteriorated, but it does not affect functionality at all (see last photo in listing).

IBM ThinkPad 760 series was  introduced in 1995  and produced until 1998. The 760-series was the most state of the art notebook available to the public. IBM ThinkPad 760XL model, released in 1997, was a far improved model version, the last and best of the series. The 760XL offered an SVGA+ screen and received the more recently developed 166 MHz Intel Pentium MMX processor. This model featured 48 MB RAM standard and a CD-ROM standard. It offered a 2.1 GB and 3.0 GB hard drive option and came pre-installed with Windows 95. Maximum RAM of 104MB.

This is a very rare opportunity to own a pristine piece of computing history!
