Vintage Hamilton Boyd 14K Gold Filled Watch from 1950 w/ 17J 747 Movement
The Hamilton Boyd was a nice, larger-style dress watch in its time. It came in a Star Watch Co 14K yellow gold-filled rectangular case that measures 26 mm x 35.5 mm. The sterling silver dial is finished in white with solid 18K gold numerals.
Behind the dial is Hamilton's 8/0-sized, 17-jewel 747 movement, which has the serial number Y230503. The watch is paired with a gold-plated mesh band.
Additional Notes:
- The watch runs and keeps time.
- The crystal looks great.
- The case has visible scratches.
- Cleaning/servicing the movement is recommended to ensure ongoing reliability.
