Photographic chamber Balagny system. 13x18 format, made from old mahogany. Beautiful cabinetwork with dovetail assemblies. Black leather gusset with folded corners. Balagny was well known at the French Society of Photography, particularly between 1880 and 1900 for his various studies and presentations on revealing substances, as well as on supports using flexible plates and film plates. The device that we are presenting meets the use of these principles, in particular by the type of chassis that it uses. Carl Zeiss Jena Anastigmat lens 1: 7.2- F= 220 mm., mounted on curtain shutter. Lens number 4940 dating from 1900. Back with frame carrying frosted glass. Unusual device in good condition..
