Here is a fantastic vintage battery operated toy tractor, made by Louis Marx in the 1970s in Hong Kong.

Large at 10 inches long and 6.5 inches high.

It has a clean and tidy battery compartment which requires 2 x D batteries which are not included.

The tractor is quite dusty but is otherwise in lovely working condition and the battery powered motor powers the bump ‘n’ go mystery action really well, even with my two quite low energy batteries in it, see video.

The spectacular mechanical moving parts to the tractor driver which are so clever, are all working really well, with both arms and feet realistically operating the tractor. Completely brilliant.

Such a gorgeous old toy from the 1970s that sadly needs to leave my collection and move on to another.

Comes with a seriously knackered original box which has been glued and mended and is quite nice to have but it is in poor condition.
