Vintage 10k Yellow Gold, Ring by jewelry designer GTR (J. M. Fox). This pretty ring features 3 ivory colored Pearl's, measuring 5mm diameter each, and prong set.

Ring sits 6mm above finger when worn.

The band at the thinnest point is 1.4mm.

Ring is stamped 10k and also has the Maker's Mark GTR.

Ring is preowned and in lovely condition, showing normal wear for a vintage ring, including some scratches to the band and inclusions to the gemstones.

The Presidium Gem Tester distinguishes between genuine gem stones and simulants such as glass or plastic, but it cannot distinguish between synthetic/lab-created stones and natural stones. There are some gemstones that my machine doesn't test.

I am unable to test Pearl's.

According to the FTC, any gemstone whether created in nature or in a lab can be classified as "real" if it contains identical mineral makeup. This means that synthetic gemstones are classified and sold as "real", although not as "natural". To be labeled natural, stone must be produced by nature.
