Georgian era tiger cowrie shell snuff box with a silver scalloped mount. The lid is crafted from the original shell. Likely from late 18th Century England. Features a small cartouche with the monogram 'L.I.'.

Dimensions: 7cmL x 5.5cmW x 4cmH

Though it was not super common for these snuff boxes to be marked, historically they were at least .900 silver.
