Runs smooth (see video). It is one of the earliest models, a rare find. The new company that owns Acme is Waring. They were contacted to find out information regarding this model and this is their response:

"The unit you have is a 6001 (metal bowl and metal cover). It is a very early version, probably from the 1950/ early 60s. The stamp 5009 makes me think it is a date of *Possibly* 1950  (s).

Late 1960's unit have a reset button on the underside of the unit."

The cord end may not be original as there appears to have been a repair done (see photo). The patent information is on the front of the unit and can be found on the internet. All pieces seen in photos are included.
