This product is an Athearn HO scale model of a P40 diesel locomotive in Amtrak livery, specifically the AMD-103 dummy version with a Bo-Bo wheel configuration. It was manufactured in 1998 and is made of plastic and diecast materials. The model is painted and comes new in box, although it is described as old stock that needs to be built.
