Named vintage service medal of the Order of St. John with bar and ribbon, dated 1959.  Named on the edge:  C1064 E.W. Lewis 1959.  The copper-nickel, rhodium-plated medal is silver in colour.  The ribbon is 1.5” wide and consists of five equal stripes of black, white, black, white and black.  The bar is awarded for each additional 5 years of service.   Medal measures approximately 1 1/2” in diameter and the total combined weight is 36.9 grams.  In Canada, the medal is awarded for 12 years of service to the St. John Ambulance organization, the St. John Ambulance Brigade and the St. John Ambulance Association.  Please see photos and condition description above.  Please see below for SHIPPING details.
