The Allflex LPR Series Livestock Pocket Reader is a rugged and portable hand-held device used to scan RFID (EID) tags. Capable of reading both FDX and HDX tags at a nominal distance of 7.87". Stores up to 3000 tag IDs per session. Cordless, cable-free, and portable. Provides the basic RFID reader functions of reading and transmitting the identification code contained within the passive transponder of the EID tag. A red visual indicator alerts the user that the reader is scanning a tag within range. Once a tag is detected, the unit audibly beeps. A green visual indicator alerts the user that the tag was successfully scanned. Powered by 7.2VDC NiMh rechargeable battery pack. Detachable USB cable with an external wall adapter allows for easy battery recharging. Wireless communication capability is provided to the LPR series through its Bluetooth module.
