Aurora Cutty Sark 

Made at their factory in West Hempstead, New York, here is Aurora's 1963 model of the Cutty Sark, one of the last of the three-masted tea clippers, sailing from London to China. The Cutty Sark was also and one of the fastest clipper ships that ever sailed, at 17.5 knots. Built at Dumbarton, Scotland, it can still be seen today at Greenwich, London.

This fine ship model is still in its original factory-sealed cellophane, which bears a tear in the bottom, as shown, but is otherwise in good shape. Made during the Kennedy administration.
