Vintage 1950's-era figural metal salt & pepper shakers on their original tray in the shape of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle.

These Disneyland salt shakers were made as souvenirs when the park opened in 1955. They're cast in metal with a silver finish and excellent sharp detail, from the stonework on the castle walls to the tips of the towers. Each shaker is half of the castle, and they fit together to form the whole. The shaker holes are on the tops and the corked refill holes are on the bottom. The inner sides of each read "Disneyland", and a "JAPAN" label is on one of the cork stoppers. The tray is embossed "Disneyland" on the top, and "© WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS"on the bottom.

The whole castle measures 2.5" tall by 3" wide by 1.25" deep. In need of polishing. See all photos as part of description.
Both stoppers are included- one in place- other has been pushed inside. One of the tips has been chipped off.

The real Sleeping Beauty Castle was built in 1955 and became the symbol of Disneyland.
