Description

This listing is for a very rare, and brand new, factory Gibson Custom Shop Hard Shell guitar case.  As you can see, it has the original Gold Gibson Custom Shop logo on the lid and the plush burgundy interior with gold / brass colored hardware.  There's also a factory lock on the side so you can secure your guitar, while it's being stored or transported, and the key is included.  

These cases are made for Gibson by TKL of Canada and the quality is unsurpassed.

It's the same case that came with a Gibson Custom Shop SG Custom VOS Reissue Lightly Aged Classic White Derek Trucks Dickey Betts Gary Rossington Jeff Tweedy Toni Iommi Brian Ray Captain Kirk Douglas Gary Clark Jr Junior Eric Clapton The Fool or Angus Young Signature Custom Shop SG Artist Model.
 
Most of these cases stay with the Custom Shop SG guitars, so you'll rarely see one for sale, especially a brand new one.
In fact, you can't order this case from Gibson or TKL at any price.  

We rarely get Gibson Custom Shop cases in, as once again, they usually stay with the Custom Shop guitars.   

Since it has a symmetrical shape, the case will work with any right hand / RH or left handed / LH Gibson SG Flametop Flame top ReIssue Custom Shop Elegant Historic Pro Special Standard Supreme Junior Jr or Ultima type electric guitar as well as many other models and brands that have an SG shaped body.   

That includes the original early 60's ( 1961 1962 1963 ) double cutaway Les Paul / SG Standard Custom or Les Paul SG Junior Jr model as well as the Custom Shop Les Paul SG Reissue versions or Epiphone SG's that have an SG shaped body.  

A single cutaway Les Paul will not work, but we do have several new and used factory Gibson Les Paul cases available, and many of them are on our other eBay listings. 

And if you're lucky enough to own a Gibson Custom Shop SG or a Les Paul SG Model you really need the factory original OEM case to protect your guitar, and also maintain the maximum value of it.   So grab this one while you can.
