Ernie Ball Music Man's popular model, the Ray34 Ray35 series based on the Stingray bass, includes the Hawaiian core top Ray34-KOA and the 5-string version Ray35-KOA.
The existing Ray34 has an ash body, but the Ray34-KOA uses African mahogany with a Hawaiian koa top for the body, making it an attractive model with different sounds depending on the material.
This model features features such as a 3-band active equalizer developed by Music Man for the Stalin brand, and a 6-bolt maple neck joint.
