Up for action is a 1989 SOTA  Star vacuum pump and controller for a SOTA vacuum turntable. It is in very good shape and fully functioning  and has not been used much. I bought it from the original owner I actually have the original box and paper work. I will include some very cool brochures for the turntable from the period that came with the turntable as well. Original owner used for a year then boxed it up and stored it until I bought it. I purchased it from him approximately 3 years ago. Why am I selling? I have the upgrade bug and planning to upgrade to the current motor speed control and power supply from SOTA. That will cost me $1500 in parts alone so selling this component will help move that project  forward. I am hoping someone can use this to get their old Star or Star Sapphire going again. I will be also selling a functional original motor in a separate auction if you need all 3 the other parts will be available in a separate auction in the future. To sweeten the deal I am also including a new belt from LP gear and a set of vibrapods for the unit to sit on. I did not find the unit to be noisy but these gave me piece of mind.
