PHILIPS HOLLAND BOUGHT MULLARD UK AND PRINTED THEIR BRANDS ON BRITISH MULLARD VALVES.

MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN IN 1959 IN THE MULLARD BLACKBURN FACTORY:  "B" CODE ETCHED INTO THE GLASS OF THE VALVE.

Very early short type PAIR made in Aug 1959 in Blackburn, England.

 The ECC83 MULLARD produced in England in the "Blackburn" factory

is universally recognized as the better sounding double noval triode!

His performance is warm, linear, detailed and brilliant sounding

at the same time but without exceeding,

as well as being sufficiently substantial and realistic on a three-dimensional level.

Mullards produced during this period are extremely desirable

both in HI-FI and by very demanding musicians, especially in

classical, jazz, acoustic.
