This is a one of a kind piece created by local goldsmith Mary Szendrey.

This lapis is a light to dark blue and looks like the ocean from above light fluffy clouds. The stones have been set into hand made bezels with a modern design. Every part of this piece was hand made. The lapis came from our family in Brazil and Mary cut and polished it into these gems herself. This is a fairly large statement piece. 

Mary's pieces have been on display at the Vancouver Art Gallery as well as for sale in a few high end jewellery stores. Many of her musical pieces have been for sale at Vancouvers famous Orpheum Theatre.

Not all monitors show the same color, the color is what my camera sees. I do not adjust color in my images. Pictures are taken under white light fluorescent bulbs which imitate the sun so this is what the piece will look like in natural daylight.
